Ezra Pound was an american poet writer that lived in Venice at the end of his life. Although, he was a writer, he mostly was focused on transaltion of poems.

Hence that, the tower of Babel was used as a symbol of a tranlsation that been transofrmed into a modern tower as a part of the complex.
